Vesna Bader was born on the 25th March 1961 in Sinj. After her secondary schooling she continued her studies in Zagreb where she graduated from the School of chemical engineering , Department of textiles and garments in 1986 , and got a degree in industrial designing.

In 1988 she came back from Zagreb and ran a souvenir shop DP "KOD" in Split.That same year she was given an award by the Association of inventors and authors of technological advancement Split ( Diatus), for making plaster cast and modelling a set of figurines "Kristovo rođenje" ( The birth of Jesus Christ).  

In 1991 she set her first one-woman exhibition "Sinj i cetinska krajina"( "Town of Sinj and the surrounding villages ") in the Youth Club in Sinj.

Since 1993 she has been working closely with" Matica Hrvatska" - branch Sinj  ( Central Croatian Cultural and Publishing Society) illustarting front pages and articles in their official paper "Cetinska vrila". She has also illustrated five books ( two books of collected poems by Ante Nadomir Tadić- Šutra , a book of collected poems by a group of authors from Sinj, "Iz kamena cvit" , a book by friar Bože Vuleta "Da me ne zaboravite" , his translated version of the book by Gisbert Greshake " Patnja cijene ljubavi " and a logo for the picturebook " Šare" edited by Marjan knjiga.

Vesna Bader is not only engaged in painting; the area of her special concern is making souvenirs, scenography and puppetry. Namely, in 1998, she put on stage two performances "Zločin na kozjem otoku" and" Duje Manzan i Mate Manistra" successfully played by the amateur dramatic society of Sinj .

In 1996 , with a group of friends, she founded amateur puppet theatre " Mali Tintilinić" . Their three plays "Zločesti lutak" , "Sinjske huncutarije" and " Kralj Dmitar Zvonimir" were played almost everywhere in Dalamatia. The performance "Sinjske huncutarije", in which puppets take part in knights tournament (alka), was played at the International Children 's Festival in Šibenik.
